Notice is hereby given that on Tues., Nov. 11, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. in the Chetek Town Hall, 213 Knapp St. in the City of Chetek, A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED 2026 BUDGET for the TOWN OF CHETEK, BARRON COUNTY will be held. The proposed budget in detail is available for inspection at the town clerk’s office by appointment. Phone 715-642-2182. A summary of the 2026 proposed budget will be attached to the meeting agenda.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS OF THE TOWN OF CHETEK. Notice is hereby given that on Tues., Nov. 11, 2025 immediately following completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed 2026 Budget (at the same site), A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE ELECTORS called pursuant to SS 60.12(1)(a) of the Wisconsin Statutes will be held for the following purposes:

1.     To approve the total 2026 highway expenditures pursuant to sec 82.03(2)(a) of the SS;

2.     To adopt the 2025 tax levy to be paid in 2026 pursuant to sec 60.10(1)(a) of the SS.
